Pigs love affection and snuggles, yet the method of raising pigs for slaughter is one of the cruellest known to mankind. It deprives pigs of natural contact, access to dirt and sunshine, and leaves them without any outlet for their high intelligence and problem-solving skills.
If you wouldn’t eat a dog or a dolphin, please don’t eat a pig.
I wish people could understand how horrible it is inside slaughterhouses. Pigs often witness their own brothers and sisters being slaughtered right in front of them, knowing that they’re next to die. It’s hell on Earth. It’s not right.
And people still don’t understand why we are angry.

Celebrities Ask ‘What the Frack?’
Today, celebrities and environmental advocates—including Malin Akerman, Lance Bass, Julie Bowen, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Darren Criss, Daryl Hannah, Hayden Panettiere, Amy Smart, Marisa Tomei, Wilmer Valderrama, Constance Zimmer and others—are featured in a series of new videos, which aim to educate Americans about the dangers that fracking poses to the nation, and to put pressure on government officials to move to a renewable energy economy instead.
The three videos are aimed at Gov. Brown, Gov. Hickenlooper and Gov. Cuomo and ask them to consider putting a ban on fracking.
